Within Oceania, Suntory Global Spirits is embarking on an exciting transformation journey with our sister company, Suntory Beverage & Foods to establish Suntory Oceania, a $3 billion (AUD) retail value, multi-beverage powerhouse, set to disrupt the current competitive landscape in both the Australian and New Zealand markets. 

Mission of Role

This full-time role will sit within the Oceania Supply Chain Fulfillment team and manage all key functional components related to supply replenishment and inventory for the Suntory Global Spirits Australian and New Zealand markets. 

 

The role will work in close partnership with our co-manufacturing and distribution partner in Suntory Beverage & Foods Oceania in helping set and align the supply and replenishment strategy for our locally produced alcoholic read to drink (ARTD) portfolio as well as connecting with our global supply planning and operating unit teams to support the timely production and importation of our full bottle spirits (FBS) portfolio.

 

The role will have key responsibilities relating to Suntory Oceania’s customer service, cost and cashflow objectives and will play an integral role in key local business planning processes such as our weekly Sales & Operational Execution (S&OE) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes. 

The Supply & Inventory Analyst – Oceania role will also represent the Oceania business in key regional and global S&OE meetings to ensure the seamless and timely supply of both bulk alcohol (for local ARTD manufacture) and FBS portfolios.

 

The role will have further opportunities to work on locally-led supply chain productivity initiatives and projects as well as partnering with global Centre of Excellence (CoE) teams on process, systems and reporting continuous improvement projects. 

This will be a great opportunity for a strong and capable analyst that has a solid background in supply planning and inventory disciplines. 

The role will report directly into the Senior Logistics & Supply Manager – Oceania.

Qualifications

The role will coordinate all supply and inventory operations and activities that directly service the Australian and New Zealand markets. The successful candidate will be required to build and maintain close and positive working relationships with all relevant supply chain teams at our co-manufacturing partners in Suntory Beverage & Foods Oceania as well as wider supply chain and cross-functional teams within Suntory Global Spirits.

Main responsibilities include but not limited to:

Be the lead for all Supply related planning & analytical tasks for both bulk alcohol and case finished goods portfolios, including: Prepare for all supply review meetings (IBP) to ensure production and supply replenishment plans meet SGS requirements, identify and call out risk where applicable, and initiate mitigation strategies Validate co-manufacturing supply plans and ensure they are accurately reflected in the monthly shipment forecast that goes to our overseas Operating Units for Full Bottle Spirits (FBS) and Bulk alcohol requirements Proactively enter all supply and inventory data into relevant databases to support the SKU rationalisation and Run Out Run In process to ensure seamless project transitions and cost minimization Validate New Product Development (NPD) supply plans to ensure this supports the commercial forecast requirements Identify, discuss and resolve supply and SAP PO misalignment issues with Customer Service and co-manufacturing teams Qualification & Experience

Qualifications & Experience   
Education/Experience:
•    Supply Planning and Inventory Management experience (ideally 3-year min) 
•    Strong analytics capabilities and good operational understanding of SAP Planning modules including APO, IBP, ECC, BW
•    FMCG/Spirits background highly desirable 
•    Tertiary qualification in Business or related studies preferable 


Skills:
•    Critical Thinking — using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems, offer recommendations 
•    Clear, objective and positive communication. Ability to work effectively with all levels and functions of an organisation
•    Strong organization and demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks according to business needs
•    Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
•    Advanced Excel mandatory
•    SAP transactional skills mandatory
