The RC SSC France Finance Operations team supports the operations of Royal Canin Global Headquarters, two factories, the French market, and Sales to Import markets.
As Supply Financial Control & Governance Manager, you will be the key lead for reporting, accounting, governance, and internal controls for the RCA and RCC factories — working hand in hand with the factories, Supply Finance Business Partners, and Plant Managers.
Your mission: ensure robust accounting and control processes are in place, enabling complete, accurate, timely, and high-quality financial statements that drive business insights. You will be accountable for the quality of accounts and the accuracy of reported results, working in close alignment with the RC Global Controllership Team to ensure factory processes meet RC standards and timelines. You will partner with the Governance Manager to standardize control implementation, and collaborate with the RC SAS Controller, Finance SSC teams, and business units to maintain both financial integrity and a strong controls environment.
This role also requires close cooperation with factory and VCO teams to build reliable, efficient, and compliant business processes.
What are we looking for?You bring 5+ years’ experience in accounting and reporting, including US GAAP, regulatory requirements, internal standards and controls, with a proven track record of delivering results.
You have strong analytical skills, can interpret financial results, understand business drivers, and are digitally savvy with a user- and problem-centric mindset.
You communicate with impact, demonstrate leadership, and have presence in front of senior stakeholders.
You thrive in ambiguity, structure complex business questions, and operate effectively in fast-paced environments.
You are proficient in 1Navision or an equivalent ERP system.
You stay up to date with accounting regulations and company policies, anticipating trends and future consequences.
You manage projects effectively, engaging cross-cultural and cross-functional stakeholders to drive change.
What will be your key responsibilities?1. Ensure Quality of Accounts & ComplianceBe the guardian of accounting accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity for Royal Canin factories and VCO scope, in line with internal and external standards.
Review and approve periodic, quarterly, and annual financial statements; perform structured analysis and reconciliations to provide valuable business insights and identify risks.
Lead the quarterly balance sheet review process and oversee Blackline reconciliations.
Standardize and manage period-close processes to ensure timely, accurate, and complete reporting, including submissions in RC HFM.
Act as Subject Matter Expert in supply accounting and cost areas, ensuring knowledge transfer, process optimization, and integration of new businesses.
Maintain the quality of master data and enforce compliance with RC Global Controllership guidelines.
2. Lead Governance & Control (G&C) AgendaOversee the controls framework and testing plan; ensure timely resolution of audit findings with internal and external auditors.
Partner with Plant Managers, factory teams, and Supply Finance BPs to address gaps, drive improvements, and proactively highlight risks.
Monitor G&C KPIs, align priorities with global, regional, and local stakeholders, and lead quarterly G&C reviews with factory leadership.
Serve as R25 Subject Matter Expert for RCA and RCC factories.
3. Drive Stakeholder Collaboration & Process ExcellenceBuild strong relationships with internal and external partners, ensuring value creation, user-centric service, and transparency in performance reporting.
Develop KPIs, monitor progress, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and remove barriers.
Ensure tools and systems (e.g., Altair, ERP, reporting systems) function effectively; support global digitalization and transformation initiatives.
Adapt quickly to new regulations, reporting requirements, and business models, maintaining agility in evolving environments.
Foster a collaborative, engaged, and high-energy team culture; mentor early talent and champion a safe, trusted control environment across finance and non-finance teams.
