The Supply Chain Supervisor is to provide support to the National Account, Multi Unit Sales team and their Customers through project analysis, service level monitoring and inventory management. The goal is to help nurture customer relationships by creating another “Touch Point” within our organization to achieve success.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
Bachelor's degree with five years related supply chain experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Leadership: The ability to effectively motivate, develop and direct individuals.
Communication: communicates effectively, adapts to audience. Demonstrates strong listening skills and expresses thought in a clear and concise manner.
Analytical: Demonstrate problem solving, root cause analysis and process improvement skills.
Time Management: Ability to handle complex projects and work with cross functional teams.
Technical: Intermediate to advance knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Partake in Sales and Customer meetings, addressing matters that could impact company or customer performance, inform Supply Chain Manager of any concerns.
Proactive and routine communication between Sales, Customers, Value Added and Operations.
Help maintain high service level for key accounts - 99% plus for critical materials, 98.6% overall, work with team to successfully achieve these levels.
Assist in the managing of new customer on-boarding based on the guidelines set forth in the “Points of Light”.
Monitor exceptions, with Suppliers, Buyers, and Sales to address stocking position on critical materials.
Reporting: Review and analyze key customer performance reports. Run ad hoc reports when needed.
Review forecast historical trends along with projecting demand on upcoming events such as promotions, rollouts, holidays, or item transitions.
