Supply Chain Specialist (Associate)

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (Associate) to join our team in Berkeley, MO. 

In this role, you must possess the willingness to learn and strive to demonstrate a high degree of cross-functional collaboration, whilst having a desire to provide world-class customer support.

This position will be involved in a multitude of supply chain related activities to include customer demand review, forecast assessment, ordering of materials, managing material budget, reporting on supply activity, strategy development for support of prime contract requirements, and enhancing processes and procedures.  You will also interface directly with the Air Force customer, work autonomously within the Boeing enterprise, and will need to have working knowledge, experience, and understanding of end-to-end supply chain activities.

Position Responsibilities:

Act as Point of contact for program on-site supply support and depot overhaul/repair activity

Provide status reports, briefs, and metrics relating to performance and mission readiness

Coordinate to ensure current supply status and contract commitments meet program schedules and plans

Resolve technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers

Interface with program and customer information management systems

Work with the depot partner and material management Integrated Product Team to ensure spares, implementation agreements, system interfaces, financial requirements, work instructions, and technical manuals are in place to support depot workloads

Coordinate with Organic Depot personnel to provide monthly analysis on closed repairs to identify specific trends of repair; in particular, retest okay and condemnation

Identify and resolve customer supply chain management issues and discrepancies

Demonstrate leadership through coordination of efforts between Supply Chain, Engineering, Program, Warehouse, Finance, and Contracts

Analyze post production supply chain data to define reorder points and quantities and coordinates for economy of purchases

Analyze material location and initiates redistribution action

Analyze supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and perform assessment of configuration change impact to supply support system

Review applicability of warranties to allocate costs

Identify Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues

Respond to customer inquiries and coordinates delivery problem resolution

Assist with order close outs

Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include supply capabilities, capacity and performance

Track the movement of assets and components through the life cycle

Ensure budget / EAC accountability for plan and open orders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

1+ years of work experience in a supply chain related role

Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, time management, and organization skills

1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience working both independently and in team environments

Experience working with Supply Chain processes

Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $53,800.00 - $72,500.00
