Kemin Food Technologies is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Specialist who has great communication skills, enjoys working as a team, and has experience in data information systems to join our team in Parma!
The Supply Chain Specialist will assist in scheduling production, coordinating shipping and receiving, and monitoring and scheduling raw and finished goods. This position has the opportunity to work with several individuals from Kemin's Operations, Inventory, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely receipt of materials.

Responsibilities Obtain inventory requirements of raw materials to support production needsUnderstand production schedules so raw materials arrive when neededTroubleshoot and resolve all supply chain issues with obtaining raw materialsEnsure Bill of Material and routing changes are correctCoordinate samples for customers and pre-shipmentIdentify and lead implementation of cost improvement projectsAcquire raw materials which ensure high quality of products and on-time delivery in collaboration with the purchasing department Periodically plan the requirements requested by the customers Ensure supplier corrective actions are executed Represent company in supplier and inventory auditsTracking of delivery order completions for finished productDaily entering and processing of manufacturing order and verifying raw material availability Perform adjustments to manufacturing ordersMust understand and ensure appropriate material safety is in place to meet material requirements Adhere to all safety requirements, SOPs, GMPs, and policies Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in supply chain/customer service roleStrong client-facing skills and bias for action (works pro-actively)Must be fluent in EnglishCustomer focused Team playerGood CommunicatorWell organized, AccurateFlexible in adjusting to organizational needsTakes initiative

Gross annual salary: CCNL Food Industry, range €35,000 - €40,000
