Supply Chain Specialist, Senior
Job reports to supply chain and the specialist lead supply chain is embedded and dedicated to the department that is intended to be served. Embedded and dedicated means that supply chain employee has a significant dotted line of responsibility to serviced departmental leadership and dedicated means that employee’s specific job is for the serviced department only.

Learns the supply chain function within the specific department and sees the overall impact of supply chain activity on the department

Meets with departmental leaders on an agreed upon cadence and is involved in daily departmental huddles

Setting inventory PARS or ROP’s /ROQ’s for departmental supply locations

Orders and receives inventory –stock, non-stock, and all special order items

Communicates all supply chain related activities to supply chain and departmental leaders as necessary

Reviews the backorder report daily and proactively notifies both supply chain and departmental leadership of potential product outages that could eventually impact patient care

Works with supply chain, value management, and departmental leaders to find substitutes for backordered

Items

Responsible for working with departmental leadership and Value Management on new product requests for department

Responsible for training and maintaining a back-up team member that can complete job description while on out of office.

Demonstrates high standards of customer service.

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned that include the department of coverage. That way it will save these individuals from being pulled into other areas, which would be a dissatisfier I would imagine.

Position Compensation Range: $19.88 - $30.81 Hourly

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree preferred
Experience: 4 years relevant experience
Licensure: None required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


Job requires sitting/standing/walking for prolonged periods, repetitive motion, computer tasks. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills. Attention to detail and ability to read and write legibly. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 30 lbs. (up to >100lbs on rolling carts). May be exposed to outdoor climates
