**Introduction**
Position Description
The Associate Partner will serve as a leader in IBM’s Federal Supply Chain practice, driving business development, manage client relationships, and oversee delivery of complex consulting engagements. The Associate Partner will lead business development and delivery for Federal supply chain programs inclusive of planning, sourcing, procurement, inventory management, warehousing and logistics. Responsibilities include developing go-to-market campaigns and enabling supply chain technology offerings to drive business growth within the Federal Market.
Key responsibilities include:
* Business Development: Drive sales and revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, developing proposals, and leading the sales capture process for the service line.
* Revenue management: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, maintaining and expanding long-term relationships Oversee large, complex consulting projects, ensuring delivery quality, client satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives.
* Practice Operations and Development: Contribute to practice operations, as well as driving thought leadership, service offering development, and knowledge sharing within the practice area.
* Team Leadership: Coach, mentor and develop consultants and managers, fostering career growth and high-performance teams.
* Market Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, challenges, and solutions in supply chain and acquisition.
* Collaboration: Work across IBM’s various service lines and technology units to deliver integrated solutions.
**Your role and responsibilities**

Leaders are expected to spend time with their teams and clients and therefore are generally expected to be in the workplace a minimum of three days a week subject to business needs.
This position can be hired anywhere in the US.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
Required Skills
· 10+ years in supply chain management
· 5+ years supporting the Federal market
· Demonstrated ability to lead successful end-to-end business development from go-to-market through to proposal creation.
· Demonstrated ability to lead delivery of large complex programs
· Experience serving as the direct manager to individuals
· Experience leading teams of 10·
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
Preferred Skills
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
· Demonstrated ability to meet targets set on a signings scorecard
· Experience leading teams of 20+
