Bell Flight is seeking a Supply Chain Manufacturing Project Manager to support our Manufactuing Engineering Group with Supplier Assessment Coordination, Capacity Audit Coordination, and Supplier Capability Audit Coordination at our Fort Worth, Texas or Wichita, Kansas location.
What you’ll be doing as a Supply Chain Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager
Develop relationships with our internal customers to facilitate onboarding actions.Develop and maintain needs matrix for suppliers in coordination with our internal customers.Coordinate prioritization of registration, supplier assessments, and SCME audits.Facilitate supplier registration and onboarding in Ariba SLP and provide status updates to internal customers as required.Facilitate supplier reactivation and deactivation and provide status updates to internal customers as needed.Support supplier matchmaking events to include but not limited to trade shows, conventions, and chambers of commerce.Execute site visits, capability and capacity audits, and Level III assessments of suppliers as needed.We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.Related degrees with relevant experience will also be considered.At least 2 years in aerospace or related manufacturing industry experience within supply chain procurement and/or contracts.Skills You Bring To this Role
Prior experience performingproducibility analysisandmanufacturing trade studiesto determine cost effective solutions tocomplex manufacturing technical objectives.Prior experience leadingManufacturing Capability Assessmentswith key suppliers to evaluate supplier's technical competencies and ensure manufacturing technologies are sufficient to meet technical and supplier performance requirementsAble to develop scope of work, resource estimates, progress metrics, and communication cadence for overall project management to meet mission critical objectives.Knowledge of military and commercial aircraft systems and able to read and understand engineering designs.A demonstrated ability to be proactive in identifying all tasks including those that are implied (and not stated) to work to accomplish the mission with minimal guidance.Ability to quickly learn new software systems and perform tasks within their parameters, including proficiency in MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and Outlook.What we offer you in return
