Job Description

We are excited to offer you the opportunity to join our Logistics Engineering department as a Supply Chain Process Engineer at our Distribution Centre, Worcester!

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Ensuring that all TTM and market launch projects are fully supported within the Logistics department with valid project plans at all times. Identifying new technologies, prioritising and implementing key improvement projects, ensuring they are in line with the BPS methodology.Evaluating current logistics workflows and identifying areas for improvement.Leading logistics improvement projects from concept to execution.Defining, monitoring and analysing performance related data and key performance indicators as a cornerstone of improving business systems and processes. Ensuring projects are conducted within project plan.

Qualifications

Education requirements:

University Graduate preferred in supply chain, engineering, project management or other relevant field, minimum NVQ Level 5 or management diploma. 

Skills & Attributes:

Ability to identify risks and opportunities.  Future orientated mind-set.Inquisitive of new technologies and desire to drive best practice. Ability to adapt communication style and behaviour to engage and motivate all associates. Demonstrable ability to implement new processes and standards. Self-motivated and committed to team engagement and team working. Strong IT skills, Microsoft packages and SAP Systems. Strong focus on process analysis and data analysis. Proven ability to structure, plan and deliver improvement projects.  Ability to function under pressure and is target driven. Structured approach to managing tasks. Proven ability to implement change in the face of adversity.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
