Job DescriptionAs a Key Supply Chain Planner, you play a crucial role in our supply chain organization, directly impacting sales and customer satisfaction by ensuring the availability of our diverse tire portfolio. By considering market and customer requirements, along with various other factors, you create the weekly production plan that determines the plant's production portfolio. Working closely with production departments, you contribute significantly to the plant’s production excellence and overall operational efficiency.
Production Demand Planning: This involves rolling production planning processes (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) controlled by the Supply Chain Planner, ensuring that confirmed production demand is considered alongside plant specialties or central targets.Production Scheduling: convert the production demand plan into a feasible daily production plan, considering relevant plant restrictions.Capacity Management: responsible for planning demands against production capacities, providing a short- to mid-term Master Plan that considers capacity and complexity constraints.Inventory Management: ensure that inventory targets are met to maintain service levels, including the calculation of safety stock targets to cope with variability in demand and supply.Coverage Management: responsible to steer the coverage for all market demands while maintaining a stable portfolio and production demand for the plant.Collaboration: work closely with Market and other functional areas in the plant.
