As a Supply Chain Operations Support Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals to develop and deliver new capabilities that support the productivity and growth goals for Lowe’s. The team plans and executes the implementation of initiatives that transform Lowe’s Supply Chain and enhances the services that it provides to other areas of the business to drive top line sales growth, increased profitability and improved use of working capital.

Our 10-week summer internship program (May 26th – July 31st) immerses you in real-world retail operations. This internship is based at our headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina. Our corporate office is a space where you can collaborate and do your best work. Take a walk, grab a bite (or a cup of coffee), work out or get a check-up – we invest in you so you can find your inspiration.
What You Will Learn
This internship will focus on the Supply Chain Portfolio. You will be assigned a project tied to Supply Chain strategic initiatives and will be responsible for driving it from initial concept or request through a complete initiative. This may involve developing a project charter, creating a detailed project plan, and producing other supporting documentation. It will also require ongoing cross-functional collaboration with involved teams to ensure alignment and process. Throughout the internship, you will work alongside the project contributors and/or stakeholders to drive project execution and ensure the Supply Chain initiatives are delivered effectively.

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or OperationsExpected graduation date of May 20273.0 cumulative GPAIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Program (specifically Word, Excel, Power Point, Excel and data analysis tools)Preferred Skills/Experience
Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills (must be comfortable speaking / presenting to a variety of people with varying roles / responsibilities)Strong organizational and analytical skills (focused on problem-solving and customer service)Relevant internship and/or experience in retail, supply chain management, project management or data analytics is a plusExperience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organizationBenefits
