You will support warehouse operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will provide team leadership and direction for the warehouse organization. In this role, you will implement warehouse strategy and effectively execute operations to ensure optimum logistics solutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. You will also work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. 

How you will contribute

You will: 

Own the P&L for warehouse operationsManage all activities related to handling and warehousing of finished goods, semi FG and/or raw and pack materials for our distributions center/s and/or implant warehouse/s in a particular site/geographyCreate a winning team by developing, coaching, delegating and leading warehouse personnel in the area of responsibility who can drive the business agenda and enable them to have the opportunity to grow in the organizationMaintain proper storage and rotation of stock in the warehouse using technology such as a warehouse management system and ensure the warehousing operation minimizes products write-offs and maximizes capacity usage meeting the overall business objectivesManage services to provide a savings to our overall costs, superior service to internal and external customers and ensure safe and legal operationSupport network design activities and projects that improve our overall strategic positionMonitor third-party logistics service levels, research causal factors and implement corrective actions to maximize efficiency and maintain strong partnerships with providers

You will support end-to-end logistics (physical flows from plants to DCs), including all warehouse, transport, company store, in terms of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will provide team leadership and direction for the logistics organization. In this role, you will implement logistics strategy and effectively execute operations to ensure optimum logistics solutions while supporting various routes-to-market, and balancing service and cost. You will work collaboratively with internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution.

How you will contribute

You will:

Be accountable for warehouse, transportation, international logistics (import/export) and company store operationsBe accountable for Planning of schedule and to ensure right positions are scheduled per month to have right DVLDeveloping and implementing production plans to meet customer demand while optimizing plant resource utilization.Ensure the implementation of the business plan by delivering a consistent service level, adapting the supply chain to the demanding and changing customer environment and ensuring sufficient operational capacity to deliver business needsBe accountable for delivering logistics operational cost budget, ensuring that best-in-class controls and governance are in placeFoster, initiate and lead continuous improvement programs that reduce cost and our carbon footprint and improve the service performance of the operationEnsure successful S4 project implementation as Key OwnerSelect, manage and develop long-term relationships with third-party service providersEnsure adherence to health and safety, quality, food defense and legal requirements and policies with audit ready mindsetEstablish a business continuity plan for logistics operations.Support best-practices sharing and adoption

What you will bring

Solid background in logistics with experience leading operations in an FMCG/CPG environmentTeam leadership experience, with proven ability to build effective teams and develop peopleDrive for results with proactive, dynamic and action orientated approach, identifying areas where business change is required and excellence in project managementStrong collaboration skills with strong business and financial acumen and the ability to forge senior level strategic partnerships with both internal and external stakeholdersStrategic thinking plus excellent presentation, communication, influencing and motivational skillsStrong negotiating skills with ability to negotiate in tough situations with both internal and external groups

 Education:

Bachelors Degree

Work Schedule:

M-F (On-site) with some flexibility over weekends to support off-shift.

The expected base salary range for this position is $93,300 to $116,650 CAD depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget.  In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 10% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
