Location: Sollihull, hybrid working 3 days in office

The primary purpose of the Supply Chain Network Optimisation Manager is to design, implement, and manage strategies that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our Supply Chain Network. This involves analysing the existing network, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions to reduce costs, increase reliability, and enhance customer service. Ultimately, the goal is to create a more agile, resilient, and cost effective supply chain.

Our team are at the forefront of industry best practice and this role is pivotal for us to benchmark and validate supply chain solutions across our network.

✅WHAT YOU'LL DO

\n\nDeveloping long-term supply chain strategies, using forecast demands, and aligning production schedules with overall business goals. \nRegular Network Re-design Studies. Ensuring solutions remain cost effective & right sized for Operational requirements, whilst adhering to Customer Financial and operational metrics. \nSubject Matter Expert in our Transport & Network Optimisation tool (Coupa TO & NO), leveraging the tools capabilities, modelling, analysing, cost maintenance and training of staff \nDeliver and plan annual contractual cost down targets and War on Waste activities.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of management both internally and externally\n\n

✅WHAT YOU'LL BRING

\n\nProven track record in designing efficient, well-utilized and commercially viable transport solutions across Supply Chain products and capabilities \nProven track record in costing dedicated and networked (tariff generation blending dedicated, sub contract and backhaul transport costs) transport solutions\nUnderstanding of the end-to-end supply chain experience \nExperienced people manager in a customer pressured environment\nExcellent degree of computer literacy, with in-depth knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and PowerBI\nIn-depth working experience of Coupa (NO & TO) modelling software essential\nPrevious experience in a Transport Solutions Design role \nInternational freight experience desirable\n\n
