The flow should guarantee customer satisfaction whilst optimizing cash flow and wider operational metrics. MAIN DUTIES Participate in defining the site's Supply Chain Strategy + Develops the locations Supply Chain approach ensuring alignment to key business KPIs + Proposes improvements and leverages technological developments from the wider Parker organization + Conducts SC transformation projects (HPT, Kaizen, …) + Collaborates closely with stakeholders (Commercial / Purchasing / Production) to optimize the achievement of objectives. + Conducts customer OTD performance analyzes and summarizes them and proposes improvement actions + Guarantor of the stock and optimizes the level and the rotation rate. + Participates in the analysis of the value chain and Make or Buy issues + Coordinates the improvement of digital tools related to its activity and optimizes their operation + Leads and follows all appropriate AS9100, Military USG and wider compliance requirements within Supply Chain Management + Promotes and fosters safe work environment + Manages, leads and develops its scope and its teams in compliance with rules and standards in terms of safety/hygiene/health, quality, trade compliance, ethics, diversity and inclusion as well as internal policies and procedures. + Prepares, monitors and optimizes its budget if necessary + Is responsible for the construction, reliability and dissemination of its activity reports + Collaborates with peers and their teams when appropriate + Actively develops team skills and talent to promote progression Development of Materials Management Processes + Work closely with the Division Material Manager to follow overall strategic planning practices defined by the Division + Implement locally best overall strategic planning practices mentioned above and translate this into the most favorable operational planning option considering the site specifics. + Implements a lean approach to materials management including material flow and inventory control + Completes demand forecasting and supply planning to ensure the availability of all materials and products at minimum cost + Ensure PFEP & Capacity Planning activities to support division performance + Analyzes inventories and develops and executes plans to balance Inventory % of Sales and optimize customer service + Collaborates with business partners to optimize customer experience by utilizing buying and reselling strategies and warehouse management + Establishes and implements standard re-order and delivery procedures + Balances supply with demand through Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) implementation and execution with the minimum amount of Parker’s Capacity + Utilizes forecasting tools to create effective demand management processes + Utilizes companywide eCapacity and eProcurement Tools to best operationally execute on capacity constraints and ensure Teams are managing, meaning advancing, reflowing, cancelling WO (production planning) and PO (purchasing execution) most adequately to deliver customer demand and optimizing inventory. + Employs data analysis and information technology to improve division performance + Responsible for part data accuracy (lead time) + Talent pipeline management Transportation and Logistics + Implements logistics management techniques globally including import/export management, total cost management, and duty/tariff management + Plans transportation routes that minimize cost and enable meeting/exceeding customers’ service expectations + Implements sophisticated transportation system such as Parker’s transportation management system + Develops and implements logistical strategies to ensure the distribution of products and materials domestically and globally + Ensures compliance to industry regulations/requirements as applicable (i.e. – Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism/CTPA, International Traffic in Arms Regulations/ITAR and HTF Coding- Tariff payment) Sourcing & Procurement – In collaboration with the Division Sourcing team + Drive overall strategic sourcing initiatives to minimize risk, reduce costs, and ensure best value continuity of supply. + Support team activities to meet divisional goals for spend aggregation, supplier consolidation, rationalization, and segmentation + Responsible to guarantee the good execution of the annual savings plan at the site by working and prioritizing savings opportunities with the Division Sourcing & Procurement Team. + This site has some location sourcing specialists that must contribute to the savings plan locally. + Spend family includes all required for the site: Direct, indirect and CAPEX (investment expenditures) + Ensures team compliance with Parker policy and procedures, and government requirements Tactical Purchasing + Ensure division process and procedures are respected and if required a local adjustment is performed in compliance with the Division view. + Manage with the local team, best purchase price, allocation, quality, shortest lead time and lowest MOQ when purchasing parts & services (direct- indirect) for the site. + Execute the pricelist negotiated by Division and ensure the preferred supplier lists choices are followed. + Manage purchasing of parts and services in a lean fashion way and guarantee to never create parts shortages for the production as well as to manage the lowest possible level of stock for cash optimization. + Perform with team supplier delivery performance escalation if agreed terms are not respected on a bespoke basis. Work with the Division Team to further escalate if problem become chronical. JOBHOLDER REQUIREMENTS + Bac + 4/+5 in the field of Supply Chain including: Material Management, Purchasing, Sourcing & Procurement, warehouse management, logistics management, custom clearance + At least 10 years of experience in this field, managing a Team of at least 35+ individuals + Leadership ability to direct, plan and drive logistics activities KEY COMPETENCIES + Strong analytical skills and good judgment to proactively identify and resolve complex issues + Experience in change management important + Experience in lean manufacturing important + Must have had successful experience managing managers of Team + Experience in prior aerospace company is a plus + Must speak European level English + Must speak Vietnamese + Experience in working outside of Vietnam is a plus
