Job Title: Procurement & Supply Chain Manager

Position Summary

The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and managing all procurement activities to support operational, production, and business objectives. This role oversees purchasing strategies, vendor relationships, and process compliance while driving cost savings, supply continuity, and performance improvements. The Procurement Manager partners cross‑functionally to ensure materials and services are sourced efficiently, competitively, and in alignment with company policies.

Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement Strategy & LeadershipDevelop and implement procurement strategies that balance cost, quality, delivery, and riskLead, mentor, and manage Buyers and procurement staff, setting performance expectations and supporting professional developmentEstablish and enforce purchasing policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance and consistencySupplier & Vendor ManagementDevelop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable supply and competitive pricingLead sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, and contract negotiationsMonitor supplier performance using KPIs and implement continuous improvement or corrective actions as neededMaintain approved supplier lists and support supplier audit and compliance activitiesPurchasing, Contracts & Cost ManagementOversee purchase order creation, review, approval, and maintenanceManage contract negotiations, renewals, and blanket purchase agreementsDrive cost reduction and cost avoidance initiatives through spend analysis and market insightAnalyze purchasing and industry trends to support strategic sourcing decisionsSystems, Data & ReportingEnsure accurate use of ERP/MRP systems for purchasing, vendor data, inventory coordination, and reportingDevelop and review procurement reports related to spend, savings, supplier performance, and inventory impactSupport data‑driven decision making across procurement and supply chain functionsCross‑Functional CollaborationPartner closely with Operations, Planning, Inventory, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Accounting teamsSupport production and operational needs through proactive procurement planning and issue resolutionParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives related to procurement processes and supply chain performanceRequired Qualifications5–10+ years of progressive experience in procurement or purchasing, with leadership responsibilityDemonstrated experience managing Buyers or procurement teamsStrong negotiation, supplier management, and contract management skillsProficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel required)Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing, industrial, or regulated environmentFamiliarity with commodity purchasing, inventory management, and supply chain fundamentalsExperience driving procurement transformation or cost‑saving initiatives

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
