The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and controlling raw materials and finished product supplies to ensure that all sales requirements are met within cost and service standards. This role also involves overseeing site warehousing operations, including the control of raw materials, issuance of materials to production, and storage and dispatch of finished products.
ResponsibilitiesManage the supply of materials to the site and production facility.Plan production to meet sales requirements within budget constraints.Ensure all products are planned and available to meet vehicle load times according to exact customer orders and site service standards.Develop and implement improvements to continually reduce costs.Ensure warehouse operations and working practices comply with all current food safety regulations and company GMP standards.Ensure that supply chain personnel are adequately trained to execute their jobs and perform their duties.Serve as the deputy for the Supply Chain Manager, with the Plant Manager assuming the deputy role when necessary.Essential SkillsProficiency in supply chain management, procurement, and logistics.Experience with SAP and purchasing.Strong skills in inventory management.Knowledge of consumer goods, food and beverage, and commodities.Additional Skills & QualificationsFormal qualification in Food Technology to Degree or HND standard.Demonstrable track record or experience in the food industry.Experience managing packaging stores, dispatch departments, finished goods, and raw materials.Ability to plan to tight constraints and manage lead times.Experience in reporting issues to the finance department and site managers.Work EnvironmentThe role requires working in a dynamic environment focused on food safety and compliance with GMP standards. The position involves collaboration with various departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations. The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
