Supply Chain Manager
Description We are looking for a skilled Supply Chain Manager for an Oconomowoc, WI area organization. The ideal candidate will oversee and optimize supply chain processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. This role requires expertise in logistics, procurement, and global supply chain management. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of supply chain processes. • Manage procurement activities, including purchase requests, vendor negotiations, and contract management. • Analyze and improve logistics operations to ensure timely delivery and cost optimization. • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align supply chain activities with business objectives. • Monitor global supply chain trends and adapt strategies to address challenges and opportunities. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the supply chain. • Utilize data-driven approaches to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. • Lead and mentor a team to achieve departmental goals and maintain high performance standards. • Coordinate inventory management to balance supply and demand effectively. • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing. Requirements • Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement. • Strong knowledge of global supply chain operations and best practices. • Proficiency in analyzing data to drive decision-making and process improvements. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for engaging with vendors and stakeholders. • Familiarity with inventory management principles and tools. • Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve objectives. • Solid understanding of compliance requirements within supply chain operations. • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field preferred.
