Supply Chain Manager
Description We are looking for a dynamic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and enhance all aspects of supply chain operations in our organization. This role is focused on ensuring the seamless flow of materials and products, optimizing cost efficiency, and maintaining high-quality service standards. The ideal candidate will drive strategic initiatives, lead cross-functional collaboration, and implement improvements to support business objectives. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with company goals, emphasizing cost reduction and operational efficiency. • Manage procurement processes, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance evaluation to ensure reliable supply sources. • Oversee production planning and scheduling to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels. • Maintain accurate inventory management across all sites and minimize surplus or obsolete stock. • Lead logistics operations, including transportation, freight optimization, and distribution efficiency. • Analyze key metrics, such as lead times and inventory turnover, to identify opportunities for improvement. • Collaborate with departments such as finance, sales, and manufacturing to ensure cohesive supply chain operations. • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and implement strategies to mitigate disruptions. • Mentor and develop a skilled team, fostering growth and strong performance. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field. • A minimum of 7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership. • In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, forecasting, planning tools, and systems. • Proven track record in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts effectively. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex projects. • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to guide cross-functional teams. • Certifications such as APICS or similar are a plus. • Experience in global supply chain operations and logistics management is highly desirable.
