Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution; This position requires an appropriate engineering or business degree or equivalent, coupled with manufacturing and supply chain experience. 7 years of supply chain experience Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Major Activities & Key Challenges:
The principal challenge of this position is quickly adapting to demand changes and adapting the Cleveland flow path to quickly respond to these changes in a manner that minimizes cost, working capital, and customer delivery risk. This position typically provides informal leadership across the entire Cleveland flow path for detailed production planning, supply chain management and logistics functions. The exact reporting relationships and number of employees supervised change based on business needs and organization design. The incumbent shall take such steps as necessary to assure that all employment practices under his/her control, including hiring, firing, promotions, and discipline, are conducted in a nondiscriminatory fashion and without regard to race, sex, religion, national origin, age or physical disability. Internal contacts and external contacts include: HWS BU and business management, regional management, including location management of facilities worldwide, Management personnel of other Howmet Business units and Resource units, and management representatives of suppliers and customers.
