Amazon Manufacturing Services is a fast paced, internal services team looking for an experienced Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our materials sourcing strategy (metals, polymers, components), supplier qualification processes, and inventory management strategies. This role supports an ISO certified organization and will be crucial in ensuring operational excellence and maintaining Amazon's high standards for quality and efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for raw materials across manufacturing operations
• Lead supplier qualification, selection, and relationship management processes
• Optimize inventory management strategies to ensure production continuity while minimizing holding costs
• Drive continuous improvement in supply chain processes and cost reduction initiatives
• Manage and analyze supply chain metrics, KPIs, and performance data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and Engineering
• Lead risk management strategies for supply chain operations
• Develop and maintain supplier quality management systems
• Drive negotiations for complex supplier agreements and contracts
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of team management experience
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in data mining, data management, reporting, and SQL queries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
