Key job responsibilities - Regional program management of maintenance suppliers for Amazon Air's fleet of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Unit Load Devices (ULD) - Lead network-wide programs to improve reliability, cost, operational efficiency, and safety in partnership with Amazon Air cross-functional teams - Manage supplier GSE maintenance and spare parts contracts, purchase orders, and invoices - Conduct supplier program reviews for contractual performance, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement programs - Hold customer program reviews to review program status and goals - Investigate contractual issues and partner with customers and suppliers on corrective actions - Perform periodic supplier audits to verify contractual compliance - Develop budgets and program plans to support Amazon Air goals - Travel domestically up to 25% Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - 5+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience - 5+ years experience managing aviation supplier contracts or related experience Preferred Qualifications - Master's degree, or Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field - 2+ years of driving process improvements experience - 8+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment - Aviation knowledge and experience with ramp equipment and/or ground operations. The base pay for this position ranges from $103,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $181,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
