Supply Chain Lead Cyprus, Baltics & Balkans

Job purpose:

The Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for delivering customer satisfaction through continuously improving our total supply chain performance from forecasting, product availability through ordering and delivery to collection.

The role will oversee on time, in full deliveries to customers and improve forecasting via robust S&OP process. The position will drive process optimization initiatives both in warehousing and transport, as well as improvement activities and cost to serve optimization. The Supply Chain Lead will also be the key interface to commercial heads related to logistics cost and logistics saving deliverables.

Key responsibilities:
o Owns the E2E demand plan and demand fulfilment of the market (in matrix with the 1U Planning Director)
o Responsible for setting the strategic direction for the team to efficiently run and optimize customer experience related processes
o Driving collaboration and aligning on common strategy and goals with Customer, (Customer Business Development) CBD & the iOps hub operations
o Monitoring and delivering of KPIs and agreed WoW in all O2C processes
o Driving and landing agility / transformation programs, cost saving initiatives and other improvements via Collaborative program with Customers and Distributors
o Driving collaboration agenda via direct meeting with Customers & UL CD Leadership Team
o Accountable for the internal and external audit compliance of Customer Operations
o Accountable with logistics to deliver OTIF to customers, joint work on Cost to Serve, ensuring collaboration of Customer Service and logistics to drive service, value unlocks and the carbon neutral agenda for logistics with partners and customers
o Prepare transportation and warehousing costs budgets and ensure the expenses are within annual budget. Owns logistics masterplan for the coming 3-4 years
o Support End to End cost analysis and develop improvement plan.
o Effectively manage 3PL relationships / performance in both logistics and Repacking, with KPI and benchmarking
o Work with Global Procurement on the inbound freight rate to ensure local requirement
o Accountable for safety, quality and operational excellence in Logistics
o Owns the commercial contracts supply chain relevant content (Logistic, TTS, electronic data exchange)
o Evaluating cost to serve efficiency and cost, especially inefficiencies from ordering behavior
o Work jointly with business teams on repacking, develop new capabilities where needed and develop 1 to 3 years masterplan / savings plans
o Lead process improvements and change management as part of digital and transformation programs
o Holds IOPS/hub partners accountable in close collaboration with PDN – innovating to create value within a global framework
o Leading a team of both direct and indirect reports

Required qualifications:
o A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain functions preferably O2C and/or Logistics, customs experience is an advantage
o Ability to effectively switch between strategic thinking and short-term execution
o Ability to lead projects effectively working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, as well as manage key stakeholders and external partners
o Experience in leading and developing a team
o Adaptive & flexible, to work in a fast-paced environment with dynamic business and industry challenges
o Highly committed and willing to go the extra mile to support the team, project and company initiatives
o Strong creative and problem-solving skills paired with strong presentation skills
o Track record in ‘Operations’; and creating value with Partners
o Fluency in English and one of the Balkans languages is highly preferred
