External Manufacturing & Supply Specialty Care (EM&S SC) is a Global team that manages relationships with external Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) as suppliers of drug substance, drug products and finished goods for Sanofi Biologics. EM&S SC is currently managing a portfolio of ~20 products, mainly commercial, along with a several pipeline products, working with 25 CMOs through 40+ contracts. This overall activity is supporting sales in the range of $2-3b.
The Supply Chain team is responsible from interaction with E2E global planning team until delivery of finished goods to the distribution centers. Activities pertaining to logistics, artworks, master data management, trade compliance and all transactional tasks with CMOs / CLOs are required to be timely carried out in order to consistently achieve the OTIF and inventory level objectives at an optimized cost.
The SC Lead will support EMPT (External Manufacturing Product Team) Leads in the execution of operational day-to-day activities, New Product Launches, Tech Transfers, & scope changes within their perimeter.

Main Responsibilities:
Develop and drive the Site Supply Review (SSR) process in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain for the corresponding products/group of products
Engage External Manufacturing Product Teams (EMPT) & CMO core team and ensure smooth coordination of EMPT operations with artworks, serialization, operations & quality representatives for an OTIF EM&S SC answer and supply
Responsible for physical and financial flow settings from Raw Material (RM) till Drug Product (DP) or Finished Goods (FG) Manufacturing step with relevant supporting functions to set-up: Transfer Pricing, Flows set-up under the Pivot, Lane validations, etc.
Manage relevant Supply Chain Operations activities in SAP from contracts and purchase orders creation till good receipt after CMO manufacturing (incl. BOM, GR, STO, Conversions at CMO location, …)
Own CMO inventory activities in her/his area: Inventory levels of components and planned production, monthly, quarterly & year end reconciliation in coordination with Quality & Operations managers
Manage, organize, and coordinate both financial & physical movements of goods across the network & Pivot entity, including optimized delivery schedule definition & strategy to meet Market priority expectations & EM&S Budget targets
Monitor the performance of all Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMO) & 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) in her/his area in a reliable & reportable manner
Lead integration of systems/processes and supply chain flows across global sites, contract manufacturing organizations and newly acquired entities including change management process
Make decision or escalate any blocking point which may not allow us meeting our requirements
Troubleshooting and able to find creative solutions based on a solid understanding of the relevant processes to ensure a high supply performance
Carry out root cause analyses in the event of deviations as well as developing solutions and tracking

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Supply Chain (or other relevant field such as Business Operations, etc.).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing pharmaceutical Supply Chain environment or in a comparable position within a similar business environment (FMCG).
Excellent knowledge & mastery of SAP is a must; strong knowledge of MS office tools desired.
Knowledge of Supply Network Planning, Demand Management, Manufacturing processes and principles like CMO, forecast accuracy, OTIF etc.
Able to understand business urgency and act quickly upon.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving environment.
Good analytical capabilities, able to set priorities and to navigate autonomously complex and ambiguous environment.
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
Fluent in English. Any additional European languages are a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Business school degree/MBA or equivalent not mandatory but preferred
APICS qualification an advantage
Knowledge of Kinaxis an advantage

The salary range for this position is:
