Supply Chain Inventory Program Administrator

General Summary

The Supply Chain Program Administrator plays a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain operations by administrating Supply Chain inventory management system across multiple hospital platforms. This position ensures seamless implementation action, adoption, and sustainability of the system to enhance inventory accuracy, compliance, cost controls, and clinical efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

Leads the end-to-end implementation and ongoing administration of the inventory management system across all hospital locations, including operating rooms, procedural areas, cath/ep labs, and additional high-value or regulated inventory zones.Serves as the primary liaison between hospital supply chain teams, clinical departments, IT, and Cardinal Health for all inventory management system related needs.Maintains data integrity within the system-oversee item master data, system configuration, workflows, and user permissions. Ensuring functionality and appropriate integration between the systems.Develops and delivers training and change management initiatives for end users and site Super Users.Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs)-such as charge capture rates, waste reduction, inventory turnover and reductions, and user adoption trends-and support ROI realization.Troubleshoots system issues, proactively resolving adoption challenges and acting as the escalation point fortechnical or operational concerns.Partners with internal stakeholders (finance, supply chain, clinical leadership) and Cardinal Health to drivesystem enhancements, updates, and continuous improvement.Provides regular status updates to leadership via reports and dashboards, recommending strategic adjustments as needed. Conduct regular business reviews with the vendor, clinical teams and leadership.Ensures compliance of the system and products to all regulatory agency guidelines. (DOH, DNV, FDA, DEA, etc.)

Travel Requirements:

Estimated Amount: 60% - Travel required between all acute hospital and ambulatory surgery centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED RequiredBachelors Degree In Business Administration, Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration or related field. Preferred

Work Experience:

3 years Experience in healthcare supply chain, operations, project management, or implementation roles. Required2 years Experience in managing inventory in a Supply Chain role or a clinicalPractice role. Preferred

Driver's License Statement:

Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

Courses and Training:

Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma). Upon Hire Preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge of clinical workflows (especially procedural and cath lab settings) preferred.Experience with RFID, SaaS inventory systems, or EHR/ERP integration.Strong communication, training, and stakeholder engagement skills.Previous experience with WaveMark or similar inventory management solutions.Ability to travel between hospital sites as needed and work outside of regular business hours to achieve desiredoutcomes, including nights and weekends.Demonstrated analytical proficiency, comfortable with Excel, dashboards, and data interpretation.
