**What You Can Expect**
The Supply Chain Intern will support key process improvement initiatives across our supply chain operations, with a focus on master data accuracy, bill of materials (BOM) validation, and inventory planning enhancements. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to work with real-world supply chain data, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain insight into the inner workings of Supply Chain. This position will be onsite at our facility in Englewood, Colorado.
**How You'll Create Impact**
**Key Projects and Responsibilities:**
**1. BOM vs. TLD Verification**
+ Review and validate all Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP for accuracy and alignment with Technical Level Documents (TLDs) and Supplier Part Specifications (SPS).
+ Ensure BOMs are linked to the appropriate supplier records for accurate ordering.
+ Identify and eliminate any vertically integrated BOMs where applicable.
**2. Master Data Cleanup**
+ Collaborate with planning and purchasing teams to clean and align master data fields in SAP.
+ Maintain and update key planning and purchasing parameters.
+ Communicate with suppliers to confirm details such as Lead Times, Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs), Fixed Lot Multipliers, and Country of Origin (COO).
**3. Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)**
+ Assist in developing standard processes for ABC inventory classification.
+ Create templates and define procedures for safety stock calculation.
+ Document procedures and contribute to SOP development and improvement.
**Your Background**
+ High School degree & currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
+ Strong proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets (advanced functions, pivot tables, data cleanup).
+ Familiarity with macros, Power BI, or other data visualization tools is a plus.
+ Experience working with real-world datasets through academic projects, internships, or extracurricular activities.
+ Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
+ Comfortable navigating fast-paced, evolving environments with limited structure.
+ Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
+ A collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and finance teams.
+ A proactive, problem-solving approach to ambiguous or complex challenges.
