Job Description
Serve as a liaison between IT development staff, EDI Managed Services, systems analysts, business experts, provider office staff, and third-party administrators to implement EDI transactions efficiently and cost-effectively.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the lead for all EDI communication between internal users, external trading partners, and communications network providers.Troubleshoot communication issues with trading and transportation partners, including setting up new partners, testing data maps, and monitoring communication system status.Directly involved in testing new application software upgrades.Collaborate with distributors, customers, and third-party vendors to implement new EDI business processes and enhance existing ones.Recommend improvements to processes and productivity based on existing operating procedures while maintaining high customer service.Support analysis and testing of transaction implementations and mapping of EDI standards.Leverage EDI knowledge in claims, payment, eligibility, and financial systems for day-to-day operations.Essential Skills3-5 years of EDI experienceProficiency in EDI analysisBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fieldExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to communicate across various departmentsAdditional Skills & QualificationsSQL experience is a plusExperience with VB, XML, Opentext Alloy is advantageousFamiliarity with ServiceNow ticketing system is a plusAdvanced MS Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPivot, and OutlookKnowledge of ANSI file specifications for commerce (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 864)Work Environment
The position is located in Milwaukee, WI. Candidates must be local to the area and should be comfortable commuting onsite 2 days/week.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $40.87/hr.
