Supply Chain Coordinator - St Louis, MO
This position is the liaison between Customers, Customer Support, Commercial Managers, Quality, Transportation, and Operations. They are responsible for managing short-term production forecasting, production scheduling, and inventories to ensure high service levels.
Assignments may include, but are not limited to:Obtain strong working knowledge of ADM products.Learn the procurement and execution of bulk truck, railWork closely with centralized customer service on customer ordersReport and monitor inventories of flour, wheat, ingredients, and by-products and make timely and coordinated decisionsParticipate in month end reconciliationParticipate in daily operation reviewsPR/PO processing as neededSpend time with operations, quality and sales to understand each roleBe available off shifts and weekends to receive calls if neededStrive to maintain the safest work environment possibleAct as a liaison with quality groups for complete resolution of claims or requests.Develop short-term, feasible production schedule for finished goods.Make delivery commitments on finished goods. Collaborate with ADM owned and 3rd party facilities to ensure delivery schedules are feasible and product is available.Continuous process improvement to ensure best practices.Identify obsolete and slow moving material. Recommend disposition.Special Projects as assigned.Work to improve processes for the teamQualifications

Quick and accurate decision maker.Ability to set goals, prioritize and manage multiple tasks.The ability to work closely and communicate effectively with all business functions.Must be able to maintain a strong working relationship with product managersSome travel may be necessaryPhysical requirements include: Sitting for prolonged periods of time, operating a keyboard, standing, filing, bending, kneeling and effectively working on the telephone.
