Supply Chain Coordinator
Job Title: Operations Coordinator

Job Description

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for bridging customer service, production planning, and business system management to ensure efficient quoting, order execution, and customer satisfaction. This role plays a critical part in meeting customer requirements by supporting day-to-day operations, coordinating with accounting, and maintaining accurate records. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance customer service with operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring both customer needs and company goals are consistently met.

Responsibilities

Quote work for small jobs and provide accurate, timely information to customers.Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and follow-ups.Maintain professional, courteous communication to ensure customer satisfaction.Manage Customer Account Maintenance, including accounts receivable collections, record keeping, and collaboration with accounting and operations teams.Master the business system to extract, enter, and track all pertinent data.Ensure timely and accurate invoicing for all jobs.Maintain organized and accurate records of orders, customer transactions, and production data.Support production planning by aligning customer requirements with internal capacity and schedules.Collaborate with supervisors and departments to ensure on-time delivery.Monitor progress of jobs and proactively communicate status updates to customers.Work toward meeting departmental and company performance goals.Identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.Provide data and insights to leadership regarding customer trends and job performance.

Essential Skills

3–5 years in customer service, operations, or production planning (manufacturing or job shop experience preferred).ERP Experience.Invoicing & PO experience.Willingness to hit the ground running, not scared to jump into a job.Production planning, production scheduling.Procurement, logistics, schedule planning.Supply chain, production, shipping & receiving.Data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in business/ERP systems (JobBoss or other ERP).Strong analytical and data management skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $36.06/hr.
