Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst manages and analyzes the end-to-end supply chain for high-risk, complex activities, with a focus on driving significant improvements in business processes, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management, and logistics costs. This role develops and refines supply chain business models, supports the implementation of best practices, and collaborates closely with leadership to establish robust processes and procedures. The position requires strong strategic thinking, the ability to initiate change, and a long-term perspective on corporate goals, while making decisions that involve a high degree of complexity.
ResponsibilitiesManage and analyze the entire supply chain for high-risk and complex activities, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.Develop and enhance supply chain business models to improve business processes, demand planning, capacity management, inventory management, and logistics costs.Work closely with the management team to design, implement, and refine supply chain disciplines, processes, and best practices.Manage purchase orders from creation through completion, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with purchasing and supply chain requirements.Support and execute purchasing and product buying activities, with a focus on materials and product purchasing.Use SAP and ERP systems to manage supply chain data, monitor performance, and support decision-making.Leverage Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyze data, generate reports, and provide insights that drive supply chain improvements.Apply a high level of strategic thinking to identify opportunities for process optimization and long-term supply chain enhancements.Initiate and support change initiatives that improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.Follow established processes and procedures while identifying areas for continuous improvement.Communicate clearly and effectively with internal stakeholders, including management and team members, to ensure alignment on supply chain activities and priorities.Essential SkillsExperience in supply chain management, including buying and materials management.Minimum of 4+ years of supply chain experience if no degree, or 2+ years of supply chain experience with a bachelor’s degree.At least 2 years of purchasing experience, including managing purchase orders.Hands-on experience with SAP and SAP ERP systems in a supply chain or purchasing environment.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including strong skills in Microsoft Excel.Ability to follow established processes and procedures consistently and accurately.Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and management.Ability to make decisions involving a high degree of complexity and to manage high-risk, complex supply chain activities.Demonstrated capability in strategic thinking and long-term planning within a supply chain context.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree is preferred; candidates with a degree may qualify with 2+ years of supply chain experience.Product purchasing experience is highly preferred.Experience working with large-scale manufacturing operations is beneficial.Experience developing or supporting supply chain processes, disciplines, and best practices.Comfort working in a hybrid environment with both on-site and remote responsibilities.Strong attention to detail and a process-oriented mindset.Ability to work effectively as part of a team of analysts and collaborate with a supervisor and management.Work Environment
This role is based in a large-scale manufacturing plant and operates within a hybrid work model, with two days on-site and three days remote each week, and the employee may select their on-site days. The position is part of a team of six analysts and a supervisor, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility. The dress code is business casual, reflecting a professional yet comfortable workplace. The role involves regular use of SAP, SAP ERP, and Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, in a modern, technology-enabled supply chain setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
