Supply Chain Analyst
Job Title: Document Control/Supply Chain Coordinator Job Description The Supply Chain Coordinator / Document Control Administrator is responsible for managing the documentation process as it moves through engineering, supply chain, quality, manufacturing, and customer channels. This position requires a well-organized, detail-oriented individual who thrives on handling multiple assignments simultaneously across various business applications. Responsibilities + Structure, release, and configure bill of material (BOM) with appropriate multilevel structuring and grouping based on input from engineering, manufacturing, and customers. + Upload BOMs to the ERP system. + Review customer engineering drawings and accurately input corresponding BOM into the ERP system to support build-to-print manufacturing orders. + Conduct physical line audits to confirm BOM accuracy. + Review and implement engineering change orders (ECOs) to maintain BOMs to the latest revisions. + Read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings and technical schematics to ensure accurate understanding of design specifications and project requirements. + Collaborate with production, supply chain, program management, and engineering to audit and maintain an accurate BOM throughout the product lifecycle. + Drive timely ECO reviews, BOM updates, and documentation release. + Ensure up-to-date documents are available at the point of use, including management of as-built documentation. + Assist with requests for quotes and proposals for build-to-print assemblies. + Create and maintain documentation for current and future processes. + Respond to production issues, investigate root causes, and direct issues to the appropriate team for corrections. + Provide backup support for the purchasing department. Essential Skills + Document control + Microsoft Office proficiency + Administrative support + Quality assurance + ERP system experience, particularly SAP + Excel database management + Supply chain and inventory management + Report creation + Logistics knowledge + BOM management Additional Skills & Qualifications + BA or BS degree and/or minimum 3 years’ experience in document control or configuration management preferred, especially in an electronic or contract manufacturing environment. + High school diploma or equivalency required. + Experience in processing engineering, production, and document changes. + Hands-on ERP/MRP system experience; knowledge and experience in SAP is preferred. + Proficiency with Excel, including importing and exporting data from ERP systems or using SQL query for analysis highly preferred. + Knowledge or experience using SolidWorks is a plus. + Knowledge or experience working with vendors for OEM or manufactured parts is a plus. + Understanding of multilevel BOM hierarchy and product release cycle as it relates to the creation and change management of parts and BOM structures. + Excellent written and oral communication skills. + Strong organizational skills. + Ability to manage a high workload with interruptions and deadlines. + Service-oriented attitude towards all levels of personnel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sherwood, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
