Supply Chain Analyst
Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst Job Description The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, evaluate system performance, and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making across supply chain, inventory, procurement, and order fulfillment functions. This role involves significant focus on warehouse operations, including identifying discrepancies and supporting the implementation of a new facility in Detroit Lakes. Additionally, the candidate will spend substantial time utilizing BI tools, Excel, and managing data extraction and product file clean-up. The position also involves assisting the pricing department in developing competitive pricing strategies. Responsibilities + Generate and analyze key performance indicators to measure business performance and develop comprehensive reporting to assess procurement operational effectiveness and its impact on warehouse operations. + Provide meaningful insights by collecting and analyzing data related to procurement and warehouse logistics, including inventory levels, order volumes, picking and packing efficiency, and labor utilization, and communicate updates to business stakeholders. + Maintain data integrity by ensuring accuracy and consistency of data and identifying opportunities for operational improvements in purchasing, pricing, and warehouse operations. + Collaborate across departments such as inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and warehouse management to gather data, understand requirements, and develop solutions for operational challenges. + Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions through data analysis and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate changes. Essential Skills + Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as Infor CloudSuite Distribution, Epicor Prophet21, or Oracle NetSuite. + 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst, business analyst, or operations analyst, preferably in a wholesale, distribution, or supply chain environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Industry experience in a building-related sector. + Experience with Warehouse Management/Logistics Software is preferred. Work Environment The role is based on-site in Minnesota every day, reporting to the operations manager. The candidate will be part of a team that operates across 15 different locations nationwide, experiencing a smaller company feel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
