Supply Chain Analyst
Overview The Central Data Team creates and governs critical master data for Cork, Singapore, Colonia and Arlington plants supporting new Innovations, Reformulations, Productivity, BCP, Transformation projects as well as data cleanse activities. We are leveraging new SAP MDG technology to continue our journey of MDM and continuous improvement. Collaborating with all PGCS plants and functions, this is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team with lots of opportunity to learn the business and work on best-in-class technology. This role is responsible for leading a team of 11 whom are responsible for co-ordinating and executing accurate and timely setups of SAP data. Direct reports will include a combination of working team leads and individual contributors. This entails the scheduling, prioritisation of weekly projects of varying priorities, as well as developing detailed job aids and process documentation for the team and rolling out continuous training. This encompasses executing setups up to the point of triggering DOs as well as handling any ad-hoc queries that arise. Helping to steer the MDM agenda with GPL and cross-functional teams is a key component of this role whereby change is constant. Therefore, the successful candidate must act as a key point of contact between the CDT and key stakeholders, including but not limited to, Commercialisation, Finance, Transformation, Customer Services, RA, Procurement, Productivity & BCP to ensure alignment on all asks, issues and quick issue resolution as well as crisis management. Additional key components of this role entail driving continuous process improvements, developing super-users within the team and driving RFT. Acting as an SME providing guidance to GPL, key point of contact for crisis management and issue resolution ensuring no impact to the customer and issues turned around immediately. This is a temporary role for 12 months. Responsibilities Creation and maintenance of cross functional Master Data for new and existing products across PGCS plants. Execute projects (material master, bill of materials and other data objects) ensuring right first time and in line with process notes and job aids. Validate and approve projects on a timely basis and communicate to relevant stakeholders Operate in SAP MDG, SAP ECC and BOM cockpit Analyse changes to formula and impact on SAP sku’s, labels and registration understanding the impact to other functions and plants Drive root cause investigations for issues and develop corrective actions as required. Work with MDG sustain and IT teams to ensure clear analysis Develop and maintain KPI’s Support the team through the development of automated tools to support data creation and validation Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely updates on queries, issues and projects and provide updates to the team at daily team connects GCS control owner for key controls ensuring processes and documentation maintained in an organised and timely manner Adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements Qualifications Essential Criteria: A proven ability to achieve deadline and balance priorities Excellent attention to detail and ‘right first time’ approach to work Advanced excel skills including macros Logical with a track record of creating innovative solutions Excellent communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively across functions and to all levels of the business Team player / excellent interpersonal skills Ability to multi task and operate in a high paced environment Third level qualification Additional Desired qualifications and/or experience: SAP Experience Process mapping Experience in a multi-national environment Curiosity for learning Customer focused For the purposes of external advertising we have called this role Supply Chain Analyst.
