Supply Chain Analyst
Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst Job Description The role on the Procurement team involves leading the supply and inventory management of a portfolio that includes electronic components, mechanical hardware, and assemblies from global partners. This position supports manufacturing, engineering projects, and deployments. The successful candidate will have a bias for action and a drive to meet all service level goals related to technical, quality, and delivery requirements. Collaboration with multiple business functions in a team environment is essential. Responsibilities + Purchase materials and equipment from suppliers, including electro-mechanical assemblies, electronic components, PCB assemblies, hardware, and non-inventory items. + Plan material requirements, manage inventory levels, and schedules in the ERP system while effectively communicating these requirements to suppliers. + Identify supply chain material risks and provide transparent monitoring of material flow. + Collaborate with Planning to communicate supply chain risks and mitigation strategies to end users. + Develop efficient and accurate mechanisms for monitoring and updating open purchase orders, expedites, and delivery requirements. + Assist in supplier performance and metrics management, including inputs to monthly scorecards and presenting procurement data during quarterly business reviews. + Support the Global Commodity Management team in maintaining supplier relationships, monitoring performance, addressing supply issues, and developing new products and programs. + Resolve PO receiving errors and assist with invoice reconciliation. + Manage supplier returns, including non-conformance reports, return material authorizations, and processing MRB material. + Identify opportunities for process improvement and lead a cross-functional group to execute improvements. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Transportation/Supply Chain/Operations discipline. + Strong analytical abilities and high proficiency in creating and managing advanced models using SQL and Microsoft Excel. + Experience in analyst work or a focus in higher education. + Conceptual understanding of systems and configuration management. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong math, logical, and problem-solving skills. + Experience with procurement and supply chain management. + Knowledge of purchase orders, planning, ERP, and inventory. Work Environment The role requires working on-site five days a week, from 9 am to 5 pm. Extension and conversion are possible, providing a chance to advance in full-time roles. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
