Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Supply Base Management Specialist (Expert) to support our Supplier Management Risk Commercial Compliance team in either Seattle, WA or Everett, WA. The ideal candidate will lead and manage special projects within BGS Supplier Management Commercial while ensuring alignment with customer, program, and commodity strategies. Lastly, you will develop and execute project plans, drive cost-saving and improvement initiatives, and deliver strategic insights and outcomes to senior leadership 

Position Responsibilities:

Coordinate and lead the Top 21 Customer process for BGS Commercial Supplier ManagementDevelop and Project Manage Special Projects cutting across all BGS Commercial Supplier ManagementEnsure risk, opportunities, and issues are identified for executive consideration and decisionsInitiate and lead continuous improvement of business processes and toolsAct as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers, and programsAnalyze supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities that incorporate into contracting strategiesCommunicate supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues, and opportunities to senior leaders

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Excellent written/verbal communication skills10+ years of experience in Supply Chain processes10+ years of experience in Project Management10+ years of experience engaging in senior level communication including presentation development and report outs5+ years of experience in performing data analysis10+ years of experience in coordinating projects across multiple businesses and globally distributed teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Master’s degree or higher in business, supply chain, or a related fieldExperience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processesExperience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality deliveryCertified as a Project Management Professional
