Job Description The Supply and Inventory Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimising the distribution and inventory management processes across Australia and New Zealand. The role involves coordinating replenishment activities, ensuring accurate inventory control, and liaising with internal teams and external partners to support seamless operations. It plays a key role in supporting the Distribution & Order Management team, managing export shipments, and maintaining strong relationships with third-party logistics providers to achieve corporate goals and enhance operational efficiency. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES + Plan and coordinate the replenishment of satellite warehouses, including the implementation of replenishment schedules and protocols for satellite warehouses. + Support the Supply Planning team to ensure inventory levels are aligned with customer demand. + Coordinate product rework activities in collaboration with the Quality Assurance (QA) team and external vendors. + Oversee end-to-end export shipments from the local affiliate to other JAPAC affiliates and the USA, ensuring smooth and timely delivery. Ensure inventory position accuracy through investigation and resolution of IDoc errors in SAP. + Check and clear stock reconciliation reports daily to maintain inventory integrity. + Manage stock write-offs/destruction monthly to maintain inventory integrity. + Control and minimise the financial impact of inventory adjustments. + Coordinate and support yearly stock count of satellite warehouses in Australia and New Zealand. + Actively support the maintenance and development of a strong relationship with the third-party logistics (3PL) inventory team. + Support NZ warehouse activities, including invoicing orders daily. + Maintaining GS1, this includes ensuring accurate data management and staying informed about updates to the GS1 Global Data Model. + Promote continuous improvement practices throughout inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. + Provide expertise and support to all internal stakeholders, including operations, planning, and finance teams, to resolve daily challenges effectively. + Report any adverse event within 24 hours as per AbbVie’s policies and procedures. + Proactively participate in AbbVie’s WHS programs, adhere to policies and promote a safe work environment at all times + Adhere to AbbVie’s internal codes of conduct and compliance processes. + Other ad hoc duties such as administrative duties, as requested. Qualifications + 2-3 years of experience in Inventory management operating in a batch management environment. + Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry experience preferred. + High level of proficiency in MS Office 365, ERP/SAP, SharePoint, particularly proficient in SAP S4HANA. + Understanding i-doc processing and data flow interfaces. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially for troubleshooting and inventory accuracy. + Experience in managing and presenting performance metrics and reports. + Ability to multitask, prioritize work, effective time management and organizational skills, with a highly proficient level of accuracy. + Build strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. + Ability to interact with all levels of personnel including Executive Leadership, customers, and vendor accountability aligned to AbbVie business process. + Analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to conduct a root cause analysis. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
