Supplier Stability and Risk Leader

We are seeking an experienced Supplier Risk, Stability, and Sustainability Leader to join our Supply Chain Management team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to assess, mitigate, and handle supplier risks while ensuring sustainable business practices and supporting our Diverse Business Enterprise (DBE) initiatives. This role can be 100% remote within the United States, but will require approximately 25% travel to visit our manufacturing sites and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement comprehensive supplier risk assessment frameworksLead supplier financial health monitoring and early warning systemsCreate and implement supplier quality improvement programsMaintain relationships with critical and high-risk suppliersLead all aspects of DBE supplier development and integration programsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategiesDrive sustainability initiatives within the supply chainDevelop contingency plans for supply chain disruptionsLead supplier audits and improvement initiativesCreate and maintain supplier performance metrics and scorecardsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field10+ years of experience in manufacturing operationsConsistent track record in supplier risk management and developmentExtensive experience in handling high-risk suppliers (quality and financial)Strong understanding of supplier quality management systemsExperience with DBE supplier programs and developmentDemonstrated success in implementing risk mitigation strategiesExcellence in partner management and communicationPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fieldProfessional certifications (CPSM, CPIM, Six Sigma)International supply chain experienceExperience with sustainability programs and ESG initiativesKnowledge of regulatory compliance requirementsExperience with supply chain analytics and risk management toolsSkills You'll Use Every Day:Critical thinking and problem-solvingStrong leadership and team managementExcellent project management skillsSophisticated analytical and financial foresightStrong negotiation and influence skillsCross-cultural communication abilitiesChange management expertise

This career may be based in Pittsburgh, PA. We offer a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees, including PTO, 401k match, and tuition reimbursement. The base salary range for this position in Pittsburgh, PA, is $109,100 - $147,200 and the annual incentive target is 10% of the base salary. The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
