Responsibilities The purpose is to enhance the collaborative working relationship between the supplier (PepsiCo) and PnP in the replenishment space. The primary focus of a Supplier Replenishing Administrator is to improve case fill rate levels while optimizing inventory. This incumbent plays a pivotal role in supporting to manage inventory levels, optimizing stock replenishment processes, and ensuring product availability across the retail network. Main Accountabilities Monitor supplier performance and lead times, proactively addressing any issues to ensure timely delivery of replenishment orders and minimize disruptions to store operations. Optimise order quantities to drive supply chain efficiencies (full truck loads , ex factory) Ensure that orders are placed before cut off to meet lead times and booking slots provided To manage the short-term replenishment cycle with the purpose the enhance the collaborative working relationship between PnP and PepsiCo The primary focus will be to improve customer service levels while optimizing inventory levels Reviewing the customer forecasts and future demand, and engaging all sales locations to ensure order fulfilment Review Pepsico SOH and PnP SOH SKU and flag SKUs that have below 4 weeks cover Understanding of production cycles and ordering of DOB lines Ensure that discontinued articles are not ordered. Discontinued articles will be identified through their status. The Supplier Replenishment Administrator – PnP responsible for the following activities: Replenishment Weekly planning of orders in accordance to booking slots Monitor order confirmation and closely liase with Pepsico Planning team on replenishment of Hubs Track stock GIT and manage customer feedback Review stock levels on KVI lines according to promotional grid on a daily basis and expedite orders on critically low stocks – Working closely with Buyers and Planning team Identify opportunities to optimise order quantities to drive supply chain efficiencies Manage orders on new innovations (newly listed articles)-Support commercial teams closely manage stock levels in opening weeks Promotions Review orders /quantities before the start of the promotion ,flag risk with PnP Planner and Pepsico KAM/NAM Continue evaluating order proposals during the promotion Expedite orders where stock levels are critically low Flag any stock risks with PnP - this must be confirmed with CC Manager and NAM Logistics Manage delivery issues highlighted transport planning team and communicate failed loads and their impact Manage Truck turnaround time across all DCs Inventory Agree days cover target ranges with the NAM Analyse reportsand recommend corrective actions: Daily out of stocks Service level Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and finance, to develop and implement inventory management best practices and process improvements. Out of scope: Joint Value creation opportunities - Providing insights to the customer in terms of operational performance derived from data analytics and proposing new policy/policy revision to the customer, which includes presenting these findings in several collaborative MM forums. Feedback on fill-rates Qualifications Skills and Knowledge: Ability to build complex solutions to challenging supply chain problems or opportunities Ability to work independently and under pressure Supply chain experience which would ideally include; strong understanding of supply chain cost and service performance drivers, understanding of customer supply chain design, cost service and availability performance drivers, understanding of customer relationship models and processes Relationship management and influencing skills – both with internal PepsiCo and customer stakeholders across all levels Strong communication skills – both written and verbal General business acumen Sound analytical ability to gain insights from complex performance data and translate into action Experience of driving continuous improvement Intermediate Excel (this a a pre-requisite for the role) Experience in Supply /Demand Planning Inventory management principles FMCG and retail supply chain knowledge Personal Characteristics: Integrity and trust Self-motivation Ability to make decisions Influence Tenacity “PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
