Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to support in Hazelwood, MO!

This position will responsible for managing suppliers, NCR Review, RCCA completion, First Article Inspections (FAI), to include understanding and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Successful candidates will have experience interrogating models, material review board processes, Purchase Order (PO) reviews and supplier management, including risk assessments and auditing

Position Responsibilities:

Level 3:

Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and products.Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Inspects or verifies products for compliance with requirements. Assists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future work.Provides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.Resolves routine issues and concernsWorks under minimal direction

Level 4:

Leads audits and assessments of complex supplier's systems, processes and products.Documents and reports audit and assessment results. Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers.Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting resultsMore than 3 years of experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)More than 3 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specificationsMore than 1 year of experience interacting with functions such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, or other related functionsMore than 1 year of experience with First Article Inspections (FAI) (i.e. AS9102)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

More than 3 years of experience working with Non-Conformance (NCR) processesMore than 3 years of experience working with and supporting Quality Management System (QMS)More than 3 years of experience leading and executing Advance Product Quality Planning Activities (APQP) at suppliersBoeing First Article and Product Inspection Process knowledgeMore than 3 years of experience leading, managing, or implementing Lean+ initiativesExperience managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external), customers, or suppliersExperience working with Quality Standards in the Aviation Industry such as AS9100, AS9145, AS6500

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 20% of the time.

Summary pay range for mid-level (Level 3): USD 88,400 - 119600

Summary pay range for senior level (Level 4): USD 102,850 - 139,150
