The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced or Senior Supplier Quality Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to support the Supplier Quality Regional Operation team based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Boeing Commercial Airplanes Supplier Quality has an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Representative. The BCA Supplier Quality organization is responsible for oversight of its suppliers’ Quality Management Systems, evaluating product quality improvement plans and driving cross functional joint efforts in the right direction. Our role is based on our QMS and our contracts with our suppliers, to ensure that all products meet Boeing’s type designs and arrive to its factories in proper compliance.

Position Responsibilities:
Plans and conducts audits and assessments of supplier's systems, processes and productsDocuments and reports audit and assessment resultsInspects or verifies products for compliance with requirementsAssists with assessments of supplier capability and capacity to perform current or potential future workProvides supplier education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiativesResolves routine issues and concernsAssists with and drives root cause investigations and effective corrective actions to supplierAble to travel up to 75% of the timeThis position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite at supplier facility, Boeing facility or home office. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
3+ years’ experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)3+ years' experience of conducting/leading Quality Management Systems (QMS) Audits3+ years’ experience of conducting Quality investigations, Root Cause analysis and implementation and verification of Corrective Actions in production environmentsAble to travel up to 75% of the timePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient in MS Office tool suite and project management software tools5+ years’ experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills3+ years’ experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teamsWorking knowledge of various quality tools and processes such as FMEA, control plans, SPC and MSAWorking knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9145Experience with the application of improvement methodologies such as (Lean, Theory of Constraints and/or Six Sigma) to achieve measurable resultsExperience with application with root cause and corrective action methodologies (BPSM, 8D, etc.)Experience with Buyer Furnished Equipment (BFE) and Seat commoditiesRelocation:
