BAE Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplier Quality Program Manager to lead a team of Quality Engineers and Technologists in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, with a technical background in quality management, manufacturing processes, and engineering.

+ Communicating project requirements, objectives, and expectations to internal teams, customers and subcontractors, ensuring everyone is aligned and working towards common goals.
+ Developing and managing comprehensive plans, including timelines, risk assessments, and resource allocation to ensure timely program delivery.
+ Fostering a high-performing team through effective leadership, motivation, and influence, promoting collaboration and teamwork across the program line.
+ Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and Program Management, to ensure successful issue resolution.
+ Proactively identifying and mitigating program delivery impacts and risks, developing contingency plans and escalating issues as needed to ensure minimal impact on schedule.
+ Providing transparent and timely communication to stakeholders, ensuring everyone is informed of status, deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
+ Presenting updates, milestones, and performance metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Note that this position can be supported from either of these four different locations:York, PA or Anniston, AL or Elgin, OK or Sterling Heights, MI. Travel will be required in support of all these sites, of up to 25%.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or related field of study and 8 years related work experience.
+ Minimum 3 years experience leading program, operations or supply chain teams.
+ Practical problem solver with a growth mindset.
+ Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and quality management systems.
+ Ability to understand the big picture as well as technical, budget and schedule issues at the detail level.
+ Skilled at presenting to senior executives and customers; ability to translate complex topics, convince, and inspire through the written and spoken word.
+ Ability to gain internal support, operate independently with limited supervision and feedback, and establish a solid working relationship with senior management, technical staff, and peers within the sector.
+ Strong working knowledge of mechanical drawing interpretation and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T).
+ Strong working knowledge of Failure Analysis, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/ Preventative Actions.
+ Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 Quality Systems and AS9102B First Article Requirements or comparable industry standards.
+ Computer skills to include MS Office Suite and related industry software applications.
+ Ability to support travel of up to 25%.
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Quality) or a related discipline (Technology, Industrial Management, Industrial Technology).
+ Experience in a Defense Prime Contract environment.
+ Experience with product line validation, test plans, test equipment and product qualification.
+ Specific experience in the following manufacturing processes: forgings, castings, foundries, machining, welding, brazing, finishes, coatings, nondestructive testing, fabrication, composites, electrical/electronics, or other common processes common in the Naval, Defense and or Aerospace industries
+ Proficiency in project management tools and PMP certification preferred.
+ Experience in Lean Six-Sigma and continuous improvement background preferred.
+ Toyota Production System (TPS), Toyota Way, A3 problem solving tool.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
