The Silicon Operations team’s vision is to enable a world class Silicon Supply Chain Operations team to service Silicon component needs of Cisco’s core businesses as well as the emerging components business. We are an exciting team that works in a fast-paced, start-up type environment with a mission to scale Cisco's Silicon-One business.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesManager of team of Supplier Quality and Customer Quality engineers.Work with Wafer Foundry, OSATs and key suppliers on quality assurance activities and ensure adherence to all objectives for organization.Set quality priorities and follow up on improvement plans to monitor and achieve quality performance targets. Monitor quality performance metrics and report to management teams.Develop and implement quality assurance monitoring to ensure that products and services from suppliers meet relevant performance and quality standards according to Cisco procedures, best industry practices, and customer expectations.Analyze control plans and data, defect trends, defect modeling and lead continuous improvement programs with suppliers.Serve as primary escalation point for supplier related quality issues, hereunder driving actions plans for resolution.Support change management processes for supplier-initiated changesRequired Skills & ExperienceMaster’s degree in technical fields such as Engineering or Quality Management.Minimum of 15 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management and manufacturing.At least 10 years of experience managing assembly and substrate suppliersExperience in raw material industry for laminates.Proficiency in risk management, FMEA, Failure Analysis, Packaging, Reliability, and 8D/CAPA methodology.Quality Auditing experienceExperience with global quality management systems.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Participate cross-functionally to plan and formulate comprehensive business processes, supporting procedures and process improvements.Perform data mining and analysis to identify trends and metrics related to quality management processes. This includes utilizing tools such as Excel, Power BI, and databases.Support the creation and maintenance of company documentation, such as quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions.Conduct regular technical quality audits to ensure compliance with Cisco specs.Lead and support during external quality management systems audit.Develop and report on key product and service quality metrics to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfactionWhy Cisco
