**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Lead MRB meetings
+ Dispose material from MRB in less than 72 hrs.
+ Coordinate receiving inspection process
+ Monitor Supplier PPMS
+ Define Incoming Inspection Procedures
+ Promote corrective actions with suppliers
+ Coordinate sorting activities
+ Coordinate charge back to suppliers
+ Monitor Supplier score cards
+ Audit suppliers
+ Complete PCSA process
+ Maintain and improve the QMS in your area
+ Maintain and Improve 5’s
+ Participating in ECN process as applicable
+ Non-Conforming material disposition
**Who You Are:**
You are a detail-oriented problem solver with a passion for continuous improvement. You excel at building strong relationships with both internal teams and external partners to ensure quality standards are met. You are a decisive communicator who can lead cross-functional meetings (like MRB) with confidence and handle high-pressure situations when production quality is at stake. You thrive in environments that require analytical thinking and a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or similar).
+ Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Quality Engineering, specifically dealing with Supplier Quality Management.
+ Technical Skills: Deep understanding of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC).
+ Problem Solving: Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies like 8D, 5 Whys, or Ishikawa.
+ Auditing: Experience performing Process and System Audits (ISO 9001)
+ Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Blueprint reading (GD&T).
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Certifications **:** Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
+ Negotiation **:** Proven ability to influence suppliers to implement structural changes and prioritize corrective actions.
+ Software **:** Experience using Oracle and statistical software (Minitab) for data analysis.
+ Language **:** Bilingual proficiency 80% minimum (English/Spanish) for international supplier communication.
