Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Supply chain Analyst to join our client's team in Knoxville, Tennessee. In this role, you will collaborate with vendors to ensure product quality, negotiate contracts, and optimize supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities coupled with expertise in supply chain management and vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to optimize supply chain operations.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to achieve cost-effective solutions.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for efficiency.
• Oversee purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Conduct forecasting and production planning to align supply chain operations with business needs.
• Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages and excess stock.
• Prepare and review proposals (RFPs) for vendor selection and contract agreements.
• Utilize SAP and Microsoft Excel for supply chain analysis and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with global supply chain regulations and standards.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in supply chain management or a related role.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics and global supply chain operations.
• Proven ability to conduct forecasting and production planning.
• Experience in negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with purchasing functions and inventory management.
• Ability to prepare and analyze proposals (RFPs) and contract pricing.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
