Responsible for ensuring supplier quality through evaluation, corrective action processes, and execution of quality assurance methodologies and tools.
RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Engineering Science, Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
No prior experience required with Bachelor’s degree OR minimum 4 years of experience in Quality Engineering, Safety Engineering, Process Engineering, or Continuous Improvement Techniques with Vocational Education
No required certifications
ResponsibilitiesReview supplier agreements and analyze defects to determine supplier-related causes
Execute and manage Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR) and related processes
Conduct Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Techniques (DFMAT) and Supplier Approval Forms (SAF)
Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA), Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), and develop control plans
Utilize Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Process Validation & Verification (PV&V)
Oversee First Article Inspections (FAI) and Supplier Initiated Change Requests (SICR)
Execute and monitor Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) for vendor processes and remediation
Ensure Critical to Quality (CtQ) characteristics are defined, communicated, and maintained
Manage Part Submission Warrants (PSW), line releases, and approvals
Support supplier development and improvement on APQP compliance
Preferred SkillsSupplier Quality Management methodologies and procedures
Supplier evaluation methodologies and supply chain quality specifications
Data analysis and interpretation, including DfX methodology
Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) methodologies
Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA)
Process Validation and Verification (PV&V) and First Article Inspection (FAI) practices
Documentation and reporting in quality systems
Continuous improvement methodologies
Pay Details: $35.00 to $46.00 per hour
