Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Description

As a Supplier Technical Assistance Engineer, you will represent our company at supplier manufacturing facilities. You will take a leadership role within our organization and with our suppliers regarding product launch and current model quality. You will be empowered to make quality decisions on behalf of our company and authorize legal documents such as the Part Submission Warrant.

ResponsibilitiesSupport Parts Supply and Logistics (PS&L) suppliers, quality processes, metrics, and systems.Drive and manage the development of suppliers to Q1 performance levels, ensuring compliance with our company's standards.Take a leadership role to drive quality process improvements with parts packagers and suppliers globally.Support the development of a global quality metric scorecard for Customer Service Division suppliers, quality inspection, and parts.Assist in the development of processes, documentation, and training programs.Provide expertise in statistical, production and manufacturing systems controls, process and assembly, and measurement systems analysis.Manage supplier relationships and data tracking.Support supplier capacity studies.Enhance global PS&L quality competency and acumen.Participate in special projects and process improvements.Support STA and department metrics including Q1, PPAP, Reject Rate, PPM, and standards compliance (ISO, IATF, etc.).Essential SkillsStrong analytical problem-solving skills.Strong knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes.Strong program management and computer skills.Experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in support of current model production parts for an OEM.Bachelor's degree in engineering.Minimum of 3 years experience working within a Supplier Quality capacity.Additional Skills & QualificationsCapacity Planning.Lean Manufacturing.Warranty Analysis.Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment with remote work on Fridays and in-office work from Monday to Thursday.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.96 - $44.96/hr.
