Supplier Quality Engineer
**Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer** **Location:** Ankara, Turkey **About Eaton Ankara** Eaton’s Ankara facility is a major hub for medium-voltage electrical equipment manufacturing, serving both national and international markets. With over 700 employees and 100+ engineers, the site supports Eaton’s mission to deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable power management solutions. **What you’ll do:** As a **Supplier Quality Engineer** , you will lead supplier quality activities at the Ankara plant, ensuring alignment with Eaton’s global Quality Management System (EQMS). You’ll manage supplier qualifications, audits, incoming inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives. Reporting to the Plant Quality Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving supplier performance and ensuring product quality from development through serial production. **Key Responsibilities** A. Design Quality for Critical Suppliers & Components • Lead quality planning during product development. • Coordinate supplier qualifications, audits, and site assessments. • Implement APQP, PPAP, MSA, and SPC in line with ISO 9001 and EQMS. • Analyze quality metrics to identify and mitigate risks. • Benchmark supplier performance using KPIs (DPPM, CONC, response times, etc.). B. Supplier Quality Performance & Management • Monitor and improve supplier performance through regular reviews. • Ensure timely resolution of supplier issues and full CONC recovery. • Oversee critical suppliers throughout the product lifecycle. • Support incoming inspections and manage the MRB process. C. Supplier Process Quality & Systems • Ensure supplier compliance with EQMS, ISO standards, and Eaton’s OpA. • Support audits and drive corrective/preventive actions. **Qualifications:** • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Metallurgical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality roles, preferably in manufacturing. **Skills:** • Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, PFMEA, ISO 9001. • Experience in supplier audits (VDA is a plus). • Excellent communication, organization, and time management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional, multicultural teams. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Advanced English (written and spoken). **What Eaton offers:** • Competitive compensation and benefits package. • Exciting, impactful projects in a collaborative team environment. • A culture that supports internal mobility and career growth. • Access to Eaton University for continuous learning and development. • A strong focus on employee wellbeing, safety, and work-life balance. \#LI-JC2 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
