This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Driving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.
Leading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.
Working together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.
Ensuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any engineering related to a manufacturing process.
4+ years of experience in metalworking quality.
Experience in supplier development for copper, aluminum, and steel.
Knowledge of electrical products and reading 3D electrical drawings.
Communication and management of supplier development projects.
Experience with DMAIC methodology.
Core tools experience such as FMEA, Control Plan, PPAP, etc.
Experience leading a team is a must, as is people management (Blue Collar).
Green/Black Belt certification (Desirable).
Advanced English Level.
