This position is onsite in Fort Worth, Texas\. **Supplier Quality Assurance Team** This team drives quality assurance and continuous improvement by collaborating cross\-functionally to resolve issues, validate processes, and enhance supplier performance\. Supplier Quality Assurance plays a pivotal role in managing the supply base quality performance while mitigating risk and driving improvements throughout the supply chain\. This includes qualifying suppliers through their management systems and capabilities, monitoring and partnering for quality performance improvement, communicating and supporting business objectives to ensure that quality product and processes are compliant at first receipt and throughout life of program\. **What you’ll be doing as a Quality Assurance Specialist:** * Performs Audits of Classified and Major suppliers, Processors and Service Providers, as applicable, to determine and maintain Supplier compliance to contract\. Performs source inspections of product\. * Coordinates and facilitates Root Cause Corrective Action activities with Supplier, as a result of Audit, Compliance, and/or Product deficiencies or escapes\. * Conducts First Article Inspections, including validation and verification of engineering characteristics and requirements\. * Provides input and data for Corrective Action Board meetings, interacts with internal and external customers, and cross functional teams engaged in continuous improvement initiatives * Familiarity with prevalent industry Quality Systems & Records\.
