Join Thermo Fisher Scientific's marketing team and contribute to our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. The Supplier Marketing Manager is responsible for managing and growing supplier-funded marketing investment through strategic account management and consultative selling of marketing solutions. This role owns key supplier relationships, develops annual marketing plans, and drives sustainable funding growth aligned with category and commercial strategies.
Lead strategic supplier marketing initiatives from conception to execution, working closely with product management, sales, digital marketing, and regional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. Use data analytics and market insights to optimize campaign performance and drive continuous improvement. Build and maintain relationships with key supplier stakeholders while representing Thermo Fisher Scientific's values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supplier Account Management & Strategy
Own a portfolio of key and strategic supplier accountsServe as the primary marketing contact for assigned suppliersDevelop annual and multi-year supplier marketing plans aligned with category strategyIdentify growth opportunities and recommend tailored marketing investmentsConsultative Marketing Sales
Sell integrated marketing programs including digital media, promotions, content, and eventsLead supplier discussions, presentations, and negotiations on scope, pricing, and discountsOwn revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and funding delivery targetsCampaign Strategy & Performance
Define campaign strategy and objectives in collaboration with internal teamsReview campaign performance and translate insights into optimization recommendationsPresent results, ROAS, and forward-looking proposals to suppliersCross-Functional Leadership
Partner closely with Category, Sales, Merchandising, and Digital teamsProvide direction and prioritization to Supplier Marketing SpecialistsInfluence stakeholders to align supplier investment with business priorities
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or scientific industries
• Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Business, Communications, Life Sciences, or related field
• Additional certifications in Digital Marketing, Project Management, or related areas beneficial
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Strong data analytics skills with ability to derive actionable insights from campaign metrics
• Excellent project management capabilities and attention to detail
• Advanced proficiency in marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and digital marketing tools
• Strong writing and content development skills across various formats and channels
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships
• Proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills valuable
