Supplier Coordinator Administrator – Temporary – 11 month contract

In your role as Supplier Co-ordination Administrator, you are responsible for ensuring that our large supplier base provide all necessary logistical and administrative data, recover costs from suppliers based on non-compliances and work with internal Finance, Procurement and Quality teams in the pursuit of said penalties.

 

To ensure success in this role, you should have excellent administrative skills, knowledge of supplier relations and a proven ability to pursue account settlements.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Ensure compliance from the Siemens supplier base in providing necessary data for logistics management: Barcoded outer casings, Submission of supply chain SKU data files and Goods Inwards paperwork adherence. Work with the SCM team and our 3rd party logistics partner to ensure that all the logistics requirements are audited against the requirements from our suppliers. Work with suppliers to ensure that they are aware of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) implementation dates and adherence to these requirements.   Ensure that all non-conforming materials/receipts/ costs have been captured, including all remediation costs across Logistics, Quality, Engineering and Siemens Supply Chain. Where there is a lack of compliance, capture all costs arising.  Register of claims that details (not limited to): Issue summary, Root cause, Liability disposition, Cost of Quality summary, Rework costs… 3rd party reworks, logistics, labour etc. Manage creation and implementation of formal claim letters to accompany supplier engagement and pursual of reimbursement.  Pursue the application of financial penalties for logistics and quality non-compliance costs. Capture data to support the financial penalties claims that will be applied and require documented evidence of same. Keep a register and liaise with Finance to secure penalties from suppliers. Liaise with Procurement and Finance teams to ensure that all charges are passed back to suppliers, keeping a register of same, incl payments received/right of offset. Manage formal claim letters and supplier interaction to accompany supplier engagement for reimbursement.  Engage and escalate where appropriate

Your qualifications and experience:

·      A third level qualification or appropriate and commensurate experience.

·      Experience in being part of a teams and working on projects with good communications skills, written & verbal.

·      You will have a minimum of 2 years-experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment,  being part of a team with good communications skills, written & verbal.

 

Your attributes and skills:

You are self-determined, goal oriented and able to prioritize in an agile environment. You must have good administrative skills working in SAP, Sharepoint and other Applications Ability to communicate with suppliers on commercial topics for logistics related activities (as required), You will have a minimum of 2 years-experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment   being a part of a team with good communications skills, written & verbal.
